Today, I had the privilege of joining David Cant from Albion Overseas at his Doing Business in Russia workshop that was held in Debenvoise and Plimpton offices in the City of London. The event brought together leading consultancies in law, tax, logistics and visa support and businesses from the UK willing to export their goods or services to Russia.
Oleg Semenov, Associate at Debevoise & Plimpton, who was hosting the seminar, commented that Russia remained a key strategic market for the law practice. The workshop partners included chartered accountants and business advisers Moore Stephens, freight forwarding service Blackthorne, business travel solutions consultancy CTMS Travel and Russo-British Chamber of Commerce (RBCC).
The attending businesses had an opportunity to have one-to-one sessions with each of the consultancies and to network with the rest of the audience over a coffee break. I would like to thank Albion Overseas and Debevoise & Plimpton for organising such an excellent event.
